good morning!

After subuh prayer, I watched Slumdog Millionaire on the DVD player.
Highly recommended by Kak Lat, and I was just dead nervous on the outcome of today's matter, so I kinda need a pacifier.

You know me, the more panic the situation is, the more pacified I can become.
E.g I'll sleep the soundest during the toughest exam.

And today's matter, after more than 6 months haunting me, I need more than a sleep (which, if you have been following this blog, you know I lack of).

Muka yang tak berjerawat selama ni pun tibe2 ada dua jerawat batu!!
Stress to the max and I really need to chill.

So I watched Slumdog and... fell in love all over again.

The movie made me realised something about destiny*.
Well, I tried my best, didn't I? If its meant to be, its meant to be lah.

*Specifically on today's court matter lah.
I tried. If my application is dismissed, they're always be Appeal.
But I'll always try. As hard as I could.
And if even that fails..haha at least I bought some time off from my client.
(In this case I'm the Defendant counsel..
Er hello, its an open secret that Defendants would just try to buy more time off..hahah.)

I felt happy and found myself singing to Jonas' Bros LoveBug all the way to court.
I know, nuts and bolts, but never Love Bug. Haha.
Subconsciously happy.

And guess what?
I got my Order in Terms with cost!!

Payback is sweet.


To my better half who is now half the world away in exams, may you have the bestest luck too! Love you, and can't hardly wait for you to come back home to me..

laid back to the core

I know the recent posts are shorter (and I even cheated by posting some youtube clips) but inasmuch as I want to blog, I shouldn't I can't seem to.
I have nothing interesting to post actually


What I do know is this:
I'm supposed to prepare for my submission for this Friday matter and the nearer it is to the day, the more I spend my time doing otherwise.

And I know I should be doing something more significant and important~
But if I don't, I'll lose out any excuse and I've to focus to the submission.

But looking at the crappy crook lawyer file, memang hilang mood.
Makes me want to quit practice the very next day and have my year long vacation in India.
Makes me feel depressed.

So I avoid it. And feel 'er up with happy happy thoughts.

While I avoid thinking about Friday, my outlook schedule for next two weeks are already full.

Saturday my bridal dress shopping :0
Sunday Law20 member DN's wedding :)
Monday is a public holiday :D
Wednesday ada dinner kat Carcosa Seri negara :P

But without going through this Friday, there'll never be the next day so I've no choice but to confront my laziness and procrastinating self and finish up with the skeletal.

Aiyo ama.

I remember this is the exact atitude when I was in school.
Makin dekat exam, makin tulah aku banyak tido.
Makin besar exam, makin nyenyak lah aku tido.

Hahha. I'm terrible.

Whatever happened last few days, the unfortunate event in the Court, I'll take it all in a stride.

So not in the mood.

mengong:
I've been duped by the opponent lawyer.
Trapped, beaten, bruised and eaten alive by the crook of a lawyer.
Friends, be very wary with your opponent.
It could be vital, although you're all backed up by the rules, but the law can be bent and twisted...

memang sangat weng:
this morning I had the urge to tender my resignation and I saw the face in the mirror shouting chicken shit!! ha ha and I laugh at myself, and I promise myself that I'll take yesterday's hearing in a stride ;-)

not so mengong:
Somebody bought a body-fat weighing machine after someone brought in two boxes of Herbalife diet formula. And when the heads start rolling... I must fit that dress!

aku yang mengong.
Went pyramid after court with the Mak's carkeys in my handbag. How it ended there and why I want to know. So I had to leave the nice parking spot at 12 in the afternoon to fetch 'em back. Haicha.

mengong counting:
after three days of happy fulfilling meals of nasi lemak kukus, kenny rogers and pizza hut I (still) managed to kick 0.5 kg off. Ha ha. Aku curious je nak tau if the thing works. Mak's bodyfat weighing machine helps this paranoia actually. Waghh. Tapi diet ape melantak macam b*bi.

Oh it works.
Kalau tak, takdela korang tengok Herbalife on Beck's jersey kan. (hoi tak constructive sunguh la kan argument itu)
