why 4 an out of sorts day

I'm out of sorts today (putting ala Eternal Sunshine's Joel first monologue)

Got up late today after a sleepless night.
The only staff we have is on holiday.
The Boss extended his emergency leave due to suspicion of dengue.
So there is no one preparing for my overdue pay cheque nor there is anyone to sign it!
The oat I put in microwave bloated and blasted making a total mess in the office kitchen.
Had to take over Boss' portfolio in his absence and trial set for this morning.
The phone ringing is conveniently centered at the receptionist's phone which is outside my room.
And I keep picking up calls meant for facsimile transmission damn it tgkla number faks kat web!!
A walk in client burst into tears upon service of BN but honestly I got irritated.
Sudden application notice to attend hearing is so uninviting.
Neither is a shouting client asking for the Boss in desperation shifted his frustration to me.

You should have a look at my room.

Everything is scattered and I'm still barely there.

Gave my 'laywer friend' a confidante to whom I call for quick reference Miss SS.
I told her what happened today and she was laughing.
"Aiyoh your fengsui very bad meh?"

Thats what I like talking to her, she always laughs at the things that makes me erupt.
It kinda cools me down actually. Its better than trying to be polite but not really listening.

Then I told her the office is otherwise known as suite 3A, and level skipped to 5.
Because physically its number 4.
And Chinese don't really favour this number because, as SS told me, it means something bad.
But she said "Eh but Malays like number 4, kan? okay maa you don't worry"


I don't actually. I don't believe in superstitions.
Numbers are just digits and nothing else to me.
But I didn't know Malays like number 4.
Oh really.

The only reason I can think of is because the polygamy limit is 4.
Men.
