being the lucky scatterbrained of the day

I got out of bed at 9 a.m
Dreamily remembering
the romantic conversation
I had with my dearest
late at night I slept at 2 a.m

Had my breakfast
of nasi goreng
and sunny side up
with lingam chili sauce.

Drove slowly to work, enjoying the massive traffic jam
throughout the Federal highway.
Waited for parking
and arrived at work at approx. 10.30 a.m.

Switched on the pc.
Logged in friendster and esnips.
Downloaded perfect circle's blue (that's a song, not some porno material).
And then resumed to yesterday's work
researching on some joinder of co-defendants issues
on the Lexis and Clj.net.

I even took my time
munching on priya's murukku
she made on the eve of diwali.
Sedap sedap.

Then Francis came on or about 12 noon
and asked me the soalan cepu emas:

What happened to today's matter
?

w.h.a.t m.a.t.t.e.r??

Oh my God oh my oh my oh my
Yup folks, I'd totally forgotten it.
*Minus the fact that the file is a total mess, with so much applications, so many dates to keep up!

Not playing the cool cat anymore, I'd totally panicked
almost grabbed my car keys and ran as fast as i could
but I managed to call the court while doing so
and I was then informed that the court has vacated today's date and no attendance today is necessary as the notice was put up.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
